In an age where anyone’s artificially-intelligent robotic pet can churn out a blog at near lightspeed, providing “just content” is not enough to engage readers and foster connections. As someone who started writing long before robots were stringing together sentences, I’m passionate about crafting authentic and accountable, human-centered dialogue that resonates, stirs helpful conversation, and drives positive action. After all, as Rudyard Kipling said, "Words are the most powerful drug used by mankind."
After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Human Movement Science, I spent the next 10 years integrating my love for compelling content in industries I was passionate about. With additional qualifications and hands-on experience in the wellness, fitness, travel, hospitality, and food sectors, I could effectively create marketing content with confidence and first-hand experience. I also continued volunteering with humanitarian projects, locally and globally.
As COVID hit and many of these industries came to a halt, I shifted gears to expand into more research-intensive, technical industries and devoted my career purely to writing and editing.
Subcontracting as a freelancer to global content agencies allowed me to write for brands such as Sports Illustrated, Hollywood Life, Miami Herald, and Garden Gate Magazine (among others). I also gained a wealth of experience and knowledge writing for US banking institutions, global information and data technology brands, global eGovernance leaders, green energy trailblazers, and international humanitarian and environmental organizations.
